large cat 3 Months, 2 Weeks ago
A large cat crossed Rt 112 in front of me while riding my MC south from Worthington. The cat was easily more than 1/2 the lane in length including a long, thick tail. The light was good at about 3:15pm and the cat appeared a darker color than I would have expected. I slowed to a stop in the spot where it crossed but it had disappeared into the woods headed downhill towards the river. I believe it was too large to be any Fischer I've seen. I was approx. two miles south of the center of Ringville. (And, yes, this is the 2nd time I've seen a cat in this area)

The ridgeline areas around Worthington-Chesterfield seem to have the most reliable/consistent sightings of big cats. Years ago near "Ram Mountain" in Chesterfield I saw a big cat. I actually tracked/snowshoed that area soon afterwards. There were big cat tracks. The dogs and I got a little unnerved after awhile of "tracking" like who was tracking who. We left.
