I was up early on Saturday morning to get to work. When I left the house it was still dark. As I rounded a curve on Old Chesterfield Road in Chesterfield almost to the Goshen line, I saw a big, beautiful black bear in the headlights. I stopped to watch it cross the road and walk off in the woods. Now, that is the way to start a day!
We see more bears on that stretch of road than anywhere else. In fact, my kids have started to call that "big bear hill" because we so them so regularly.
